RULES
- Entries must be registered on Wednesday, October 9th from
4:00 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- Cost of entry will be: Single Entries – $2, School Classroom Entries – $1 for each potato (Upshur County Schools) and Groups – $5 (not to exceed 11×14 for one unit)
- Entries must be created with real yams, but may not be decorated with food (candy, icing, toothpaste, etc.)
- Entries will be judged on originality, use of the potato’s unique shape, time and effort, appropriate artwork ability for the specific age group entered.
- Each participant will receive a ribbon.
- Newspaper pictures for Best of Show winners will be on Friday at 3:30 p.m. SHARP.
- Entries can be picked up on Monday, October 21st from
4:00 p.m. – 7 p.m. All entries not picked up during this time frame will be discarded.
