ESSAY & POETRY CONTEST

Grade Level Divisions:
- Upshur County Students, grades 4-5
- Upshur County Students, grades 6-8
- Upshur County Students, grades 9-12
- Students will write about “Describe the Yamboree to a Person Who has Never Been”
- Essay and poetry themes will be mailed to each Upshur County school in late August. Each school will receive a copy of the entry requirement at that time.
- DUE BY September 26, 2025
- Division winners will receive $100. The students and their school sponsors will be recognized during the All Service Club Luncheon Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Yamboree Event Center.
