The 2026 Fiddlers' Contest will be held Saturday, October 17th at 1pm, South Side of the Courthouse Square. Pre-registration at 10am at the Bandstand.

This contest is sanctioned by the Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association. All contestants must be members of the T.O.T.F.A. or residents of Upshur County. Fiddlers wishing to join T.O.T.F.A. may do so at the contest. All fiddlers must register at the contest before their age division competition begins.

Five age divisions are: Senior (age 65 and over), Intermediate (age 36-64), Junior (age20-35), Novice (age 12-19) and Beginner (age 0-11). Cash awards and plaques will be given. Grand Champion and Best Accompaniment awards will be presented.
