Rules

This contest is sanctioned by the Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association. All the contestants must be members of the T.O.T.F.A. or residents of Upshur County. Fiddlers wishing to join T.O.T.F.A. may do so at the contest. All fiddlers must register at the contest before their age competition begins. Cash awards and plaques will be given. Grand Champion and Best Accompaniment will also be presented.

Divisions

1. Senior (age 65 and older)

2. Intermediate (age 36 thru 64)

3. Junior (age 20 thru  35)

4.Novice (age 12 thru 19)

5. Beginner (age 0-11)

Awards

Cash and plaque awards will be given. Grand Champion and Best Accompaniment awards will be presented.

 Awards will be given in each division Senior thru Novice:

1st - $125

2nd - $100

3rd - $75

4th - $50

5th - $40

6th - $30

Beginner division awards are as follows:

1st - $40

2nd - $30

3rd - $20

4th - $10
